Pour / Hand-Lay

In the vast majority of cases, no planning permission is required. Under UK Town and Country Planning regulations, driveways do not need permission provided that surface water drains into a permeable border, lawn, or SuDS-compliant soakaway.
Both systems easily last 30+ years when installed over a 150mm compacted sub-base. However, pattern imprinted concrete requires much less upkeep because weeds cannot sprout through the solid slab.
A standard 2-car driveway (50m²–75m²) takes 4 to 6 working days depending on ground conditions and weather.
Our surveyor conducts an optical laser measurement to evaluate drainage falls, reviews soil conditions, presents physical sample cases and issues a firm, fixed-price written quotation.
